Our council has several properties available for use by Units (packs, troops, crews, ships, posts) from within our council as well as making these facilities available to out-of-council Scout groups, churches, school groups, other non-profits and businesses.

Scouting activities are covered by the insurance our council already covers; non-Scouting activities require those outside groups to provide proof of insurance or purchase additional coverage which will cover the council as "Additionally Insured".

There are four camps available for use, as well as the council office in Tupelo. The council has one additional property in Lafayette County that is a "timber income property" that is not available for recreational use.

Bay Springs Scout Base

The camp is located about 30 minutes east-southeast (ESE) of Booneville, MS on a peninsula surrounded by Bay Springs Lake. Tent camping is available and you need to bring your own water. There are no permanent facilities.
