Mississippi Scholarships for Eagle Scouts
Several Mississippi universities offer scholarships for Eagle Scouts. Check each school’s site for the most up-to-date information and details about qualifying.
The W (Mississippi University for Women)
Beginning in the fall of 2023, students who have earned the rank of Eagle Scout (Boy Scouts of America) or the Gold Award (Girl Scouts of America) will be eligible to receive $1,000 per year and may be renewed for up to four years if the student maintains a GPA of 2.5 or higher. https://www.muw.edu/news/the-w-announces-new-scholarships-for-scouts-with-highest-honor/
University of Mississippi (Ole Miss)
Entering freshmen who have achieved the levels of Eagle Scout or Gold Award. New freshmen will receive $6,000 ($1,500 / year); New Community College Transfer students will receive $3,000 ($1,500 / year). https://finaid.olemiss.edu/scholarships/

The University of Southern Mississippi
For incoming freshman who have achieved the level of Eagle Scout or Gold Award. $2,000 annual scholarship for 4 years. Each award is to be paid out across 8 consecutive fall/spring semesters at $2,000 annually/$1,000 per semester for a total of $8,000. https://www.usm.edu/undergraduate-scholarships/freshdesignationbased.php
