National Scout Jamboree
Scouting's flagship event is one-of-a-kind. It is a gathering of 20,000 Scouts, leaders and staff and it is full of exciting events and activities that will create an adventure that will last a lifetime.
A contingent troop is being formed for our council. The contingent troop will travel by vehicles departing Mississippi Tuesday, July 18, 2023 and arriving home the evening of Friday, July 28, 2023. The Jamboree is July 19-28, and the location is the Summit Bechtel Reserve, the newest BSA National High Adventure facility, located in Mount Hope, West Virginia on the New River Gorge.
The registration cost per Scout and Adult is $2,500. It includes the jamboree fee, food, travel, camping equipment, limited contingent patches and an Adventure that will Last a Lifetime!
