This ceremony of crossing the bridge marks your completion in Cub Scouting, just as it marks the beginning of a whole new experience in Scouting.
When a Webelos Scout completes the requirements for Arrow of Light (AOL), their avancement and progression to a Scouts BSA troop is celebraded with a "Cross Over" celebration. There are numerous ceremonies, traditions and ways to put on a cross over ceremony - the best ones celebrate their achievements in Cub Scouting and provide a "bridge" for them to cross over to a Scout troop.
Often involved in a Webelos Cross Over (or bridging) ceremony are troops in your area who are welcoming these new Scouts to their ranks, and often the Order of the Arrow (OA) will assist with appropriate ceremonies marking the occasion.
